Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Downlyy website and app, run by Yasas Ekanayaka, Sri Lanka. By using Downlyy you agree to them.

What Downlyy does

Downlyy helps you save public videos from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, convert them to audio, and make simple edits to videos. It is free to use. Downlyy is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok, Meta, Google or YouTube.

Your responsibilities

Only download, convert or edit content that you own, that you have permission to use, or that the law where you live allows you to copy. Respect each platform’s terms and the rights of creators, and credit creators when you share their work. You are responsible for how you use the files you save.

What is not allowed

• Bypassing DRM, paywalls, private accounts, age gates or other access restrictions.
• Infringing copyright, or re-uploading other people’s videos as your own.
• Processing illegal content.
• Automated or bulk use, overloading the service, or trying to attack or misuse it.

We may block links, limit requests or suspend access to protect the service, creators or other users.

Watermarks

When a platform offers a version of a video without its platform watermark, Downlyy may download that version. This does not change who owns the video. Downlyy does not remove logos, credits or other marks that are part of the video itself.

Copyright complaints

Downlyy does not host a library of videos; files are created on request and deleted after 1 hour. If you believe Downlyy is being used to infringe your rights, email downlyy@gmail.com with the link to the content, proof that you own the rights, and your contact details. We will review every complaint and may block the content from Downlyy.

Availability

Platforms change often, so some videos, formats or qualities may not be available, and the service may sometimes be down. Save your files promptly: temporary files are deleted after 1 hour.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. Keep your password safe and use a real email address. You can delete your account at any time from My account.

No warranty and limits of liability

Downlyy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or how you use downloaded content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms or change or stop the service. If we change these terms, we will update the date above. If you keep using Downlyy after a change, the new terms apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
